Spring

I absolutely love Spring! The birds start chirping, the weather starts to warm up, and everything starts to feel brighter. Even my mood gets better. 

I get to open my windows almost all day long. I love feeling a breeze in the house, knowing that the funky stink that has been hanging around for the last couple months will finally be gone. (It's what happens when seven people inhabit a space and can't open the windows because it is to frickin cold outside.)

The only problem with where I live is The horrible Wind. It blows with such great force. Sometimes things, like the BBQ grill, get knocked over with the wind. I usually get to lose half my apricot flowers because of this wonderful, beautiful wind. (In case you don't know, the flowers are what turn to fruit on plants.) 

Fortunately, I could care less about the wind as long as the weather is warming up. Luckily, for my peace of mind (probably literally), the weather is warming up and my favorite time of year is here.
